“Healthy” Foods Seniors Should Really Avoid

  • Sushi
    While sushi is enjoyed around the world and is considered a healthy food because of its high levels of vitamins, minerals, and omega-3 fatty acids, it’s wise for seniors to avoid eating raw varieties (sashimi) as these may harbor bacteria that can make seniors very ill.
  • Raw Eggs
    We’ve all seen images of people consuming raw eggs on the internet to build muscle and have more energy, but raw eggs can be very dangerous for seniors. This is because raw eggs are salmonella risks.
